Chiggers Stokes lives in the Bogachiel Rain Forest on the Flying S Farm two miles from Olympic National Park. The scenic values of this historic homestead, along with the abundant wildlife found thereupon, are protected as a conservation area overseen by the North Olympic Land Trust. The farm is powered by its own hydroelectric system. Chiggers writes about his experiences as a latter day pioneer and his career as a protection ranger for Olympic National Park.  His columns appear weekly in The Forks Forum.
